ABOUT THE DESIGNERS
Sandra Selick, M.S., University Director - Center for Teaching and Learning withTechnology
Many of you already Sandra, who has been with the Office of Educational Technology since 1998. Sandra's history with FDU is long; she earned her B.S. in computer science and math at FDU, as well as her M.S. in computer science. In addition to her work with Ed Tech, Sandra is an adjunct instructor in The Gildart Hasse School of Compter Scinces and Engineering as well as teaching in the MPA program specializing in Jewish Communal Services for the Public Administration Institute. In fact, Sandra has developed a new course, the only one of its kind, title Computer Applications and Resources for Jewish Communal Services. Sandra manages the Instructional Design Studio aswell as all of the day-to-day activities of the office, supervises all staff, and works with the Assistant Provost to develop new projetcs, initiatives, and policies.
Paul Younghouse, Ph.D., Coordinator of Instructional Design
Paul has been a full time employee of the Office of Educational Technology for less than a year. Before coming to FDU, he was an instructional designer at Seton Hall University and William Paterson University. He earned an interdisplinary B.A. in Communication at what is now Antioch University in Ohio, and his Ph.D. in Educational Media is from the interdisplinary Visual Scholars Program at the University of Iowa. Paul teaches computer fundamentals as an adjunct at Bloomfield College. As a coordinator of Instructional Design for the College at Florham, he works closely with faculty members to design courses and instructional materials.
